On a 1\/8 scale car those impacts are substantial, and the knuckle is one of the parts most likely to be damaged in a hard front-end hit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDamage here is not always obvious. A knuckle that has been bent rather than broken changes the steering geometry on that side only, which makes the car pull under braking and gives it a different turning radius left versus right.
