It is the part most people replace last and should often replace first.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCases also get dented and crushed in impacts, and a case that is even slightly out of round will bind the piston and give you damping that changes through the stroke.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 47mm this is the short case used at the front of the car.
