It transmits full drivetrain load through joints that articulate constantly under that load, and once play develops you get a knock on throttle transitions and accelerating wear on the diff outdrives either side of it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLength is the critical spec, so check it before ordering: at 128mm these are the longer shafts.
