kyosho-tr107-radio-box-dbx-dst
Kyosho TR107 Radio Box DBX DST

This is the radio box for Kyosho's D-series chassis, the sealed enclosure that houses the receiver and keeps water and dirt away from it.

On a nitro off-road car the radio box is not optional protection. The receiver sits in the middle of a chassis that throws up dirt, gets sprayed with fuel and oil residue, and regularly ends up in mud or standing water. Without a sealed box the receiver is exposed to all of it.

Water is the obvious risk but dust matters just as much over time. Fine grit works into the connectors and causes intermittent faults that come and go with vibration rather than failing outright, which makes them extremely frustrating to diagnose. Fuel residue is worse still, because it creeps into everything and attacks plastics.

The box has to seal properly to do its job, so a cracked lid or a distorted body is worth replacing rather than taping over. Kyosho's own name lists the DBX and DST, but the compatibility list is considerably wider and covers the DRX rally cars, DBX 2.0, DMT and DRT as well.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0567/0554/8376/files/kyotr107_e685ed19-9f92-4d37-b5c6-5656f9ee4c31.jpg?v=1786242828
