The tapered chassis design features updated side guards to help increase stiffness and predictability. Taken from the RC8B4, the rear chassis brace is mounted centrally to the gearbox and allows for various flex options. The chassis also uses the interlocking A and B suspension mount design found on the prior 1\/8 Buggy Kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eSuspension Geometry\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo really improve upon the RC8 platform, the suspension has been overhauled with updated front and rear shock towers. These shock towers feature a lower center of gravity and are made from lightweight aluminum. Updated 3-hole rear suspension arms allow for softer shocks and shock springs while still supporting the buggy through fast turns. Beefy fluid-filled differentials are used front, center, and rear to accurately distribute power to each corner of the chassis.
