TPU is a great choice for phone cases, protective covers, grips, gaskets, seals, feet, vibration dampeners, flexible hinges, wearable parts, and other projects that need strength without being rigid. Depending on the hardness rating, TPU can range from soft and highly flexible to firm and semi-rigid.

Because flexible filament behaves differently than standard materials, slower print speeds and a well-guided filament path are recommended. Direct-drive extruders generally provide the best and most reliable results.
