2445 LIONEL ELIZABETH PULLMAN CAR, 56

The Lionel Lines Elizabeth Pullman Car No. 2445 was only available in 1956. The car body and roof are painted SILVER and it has a RED painted body stripe that runs through the windows and RED heat stamped lettering. This car is lighted by two lamps that are held in place by metal brackets that are also used to hold the roof to the body. There are people silhouettes on the interior window inserts. It came with Type IV die-cast four-wheel passenger trucks equipped with magnetic couplers. There are no variations.

This passenger car was only issued for separate sale and was never sold in a set. Because of this it is the rarest the RED stripped cars.
