Busch 1015 HO/TT Scale Border Guard Watchtower Kit

The Busch 1015 is a plastic construction kit for a guard tower modelled on the former East German (GDR) border, supplied unassembled for you to build. It includes a border fence and a cut-out sheet with typical signage, so you can create a complete and authentic border installation. The detailed instructions also show how the tower can be built as a lookout tower, lighthouse or similar structure.

The concrete mast of item 1015 is assembled from stackable rings, so the tower's height is variable -- making it ideal for TT scale as well as HO. The finished model stands up to approximately 185 mm (about 7-1/4 in.) tall, while the sheet lists it at 6-5/8 in. (16.5 cm). For lighting the searchlight or beacon, Busch white LEDs (Busch no. 5987) are the perfect choice.
