Busch 12000 HO Scale Feldbahn Diesel Train Set, Dump Cars

Busch item 12000 is an HO scale Feldbahn industrial diesel train set that brings a working narrow-gauge construction or quarry line to your layout. It is led by a Gmeinder 15/18 PS diesel locomotive in open cab form, coupled to 2 side-dump cars (Kipploren) for moving spoil, gravel and other loose materials. Supplied as a complete ready-to-run system rather than a kit, it needs only batteries to get rolling in a compact space.

The set 12000 includes the special Feldbahn track for a full oval, a battery box and a forward/reverse/stop switch. The track features an integrated metal insert that increases the wheels' contact pressure on the rails for reliable pickup and strong, jerk-free pulling power. The oval fits in about 9-7/8 x 14-3/4 in. (250 x 375 mm). It runs on two 1.5 V AA batteries (not included) or a 3 V DC power supply, and the locomotive's minimal current draw gives very long battery life.
