Busch 12342 HOf Feldbahn 6.5mm Right-Hand Track Turnout

The Busch 12342 is a single right-hand manual turnout for the Busch HOf Feldbahn field-railway track system in 6.5 mm (Z) gauge, representing about 600 mm narrow gauge on the HO scale prototype. It measures 66.6 mm long with a 6-7/8 in. (17.5 cm / 175 mm) diverging radius and a 22.5-degree angle, and can be operated by hand or automatically with an under-table point motor or servo.

The HOf field-railway system is a complete new development with the wide sleeper spacing typical of field railways, and integrated metal strips that magnetically increase locomotive contact pressure for improved current pickup, slow jerk-free running and strong tractive effort. This makes the Busch 12342 turnout suitable for the Busch mine railway as well, and the range offers extensive track-plan variety for lively industrial operations.
