Busch 12380 HO Scale Feldbahn Locomotive Shed Laser-Cut Kit

Busch 12380 is a finely detailed laser-cut wood kit for a Feldbahn (narrow-gauge industrial) locomotive shed, built to house field and industrial engines. The prototype was designed to be knocked down and moved from one construction site to the next, and the compact model perfectly reproduces the profile of its wooden planking. Like the full-size original, which was in service with the civil-engineering firm Heinrich von Bloh in Bad Zwischenahn, the shed has opening wooden doors on both end walls.

The real shed that inspired Busch 12380 is preserved today at the Saxon Railway Museum in Chemnitz. Assembled, the kit measures approximately 3 x 1-3/4 x 1-5/8 in. (76 x 44 x 42 mm high), with a drive-through opening about 32 mm high and 23 mm wide so your narrow-gauge locomotives can pass through. The laser-cut wooden parts give crisp, authentic board detail to this characterful little engine house.
