Busch 1430 HO Scale Elend Wooden Church Building Kit

The Busch 1430 is an HO scale (1:87) kit for a model of the smallest wooden church in Germany, whose prototype stands in the village of Elend in the Harz mountains and was consecrated as a church in 1897. Just as in the original, the walls are made of real wood, while the roof, gutters and downpipes are molded in plastic for fine detail.

The colorfully printed window panes of kit 1430 look especially attractive when backlit with additional interior lighting, such as Busch lighting set 4280. The completed church measures approximately 6-11/16 x 3-1/16 x 10 in. (170 x 78 x 255 mm), its tall slender tower giving the Busch 1430 a striking silhouette; a sturdy plug-together base makes assembly straightforward with just a hobby knife and all-purpose glue.
