This multi-story building in half-timbered and wooden construction served as a fire brigade equipment house, and its characterful architecture makes an impressive civic landmark on the layout.

The Busch 1450 model offers parking bays for three fire vehicles with large gates that open, plus a hose tower topped by an observation platform. All wooden parts come colored, the floor and infill panels are made of natural material, the hip roof uses a special flex plastic, and the gutters and downpipes are plastic. It is ideal to expand with the Schwenningen vehicle hall (item 1451), and it uses a sturdy plug-together substructure clad with pre-cut, colored wood veneers for easy assembly, requiring only a hobby knife and all-purpose glue. Item 1450 measures about 7-1/2 x 4-7/8 x 8-15/16 in. (19 x 12.3 x 22.7 cm, height 227 mm).
