Busch 1468 HO Scale 1892 Kupferzell Wood Train Station Kit

Model a preserved slice of Württemberg railway history with the Busch 1468 Kupferzell Train Station, an HO scale (1:87) laser-cut wood and plastic kit based on the prototype built in 1892 as the first Württemberg standard station. The building consists of a central section with a service room on the ground floor and the stationmaster's apartment above, a passenger waiting room with ticket office on one side, and a goods shed on the other. This station on the Kochertalbahn was dismantled in 1989, rebuilt at the Hohenlohe open-air museum in Wackershofen, and has been open to visitors there since 2000.

The two-story Busch 1468 model reproduces the construction and varied surfaces perfectly, with many details such as the wood cladding, doors, sliding gates, folding shutters, and window frames made of real wood, plus plastic gutters and downpipes and realistic roofs of differing materials. Item 1468 is prepared for interior lighting (lighting base 4280 and neon LEDs 5987). The building measures about 286 x 90 mm and 135 mm high (11-1/4 x 3-9/16 x 5-5/16 in. / 28.6 x 9 x 13.5 cm), with a base and freight ramp of about 515 x 150 mm (10-1/4 x 5-7/8 in. / 51.5 x 15 cm). A stable plug-together substructure clad with pre-cut, pre-colored wood parts makes item 1468 easy to build; you need only a hobby knife and plastic-model or all-purpose cement.
