Busch 1476 HO Scale Schlema Mine Head Winding Tower Kit

Recreate a piece of Saxon mining heritage with the Busch 1476 mine head winding tower (Foerderturm "Schlema") in HO scale. The model follows the original of Shaft 15 IIb, today part of the "Markus-Semmler-Stollen" visitor mine in Schlema, Saxony. The tower parts are made mainly from real wood, and a separate machine house is included, connected to the tower by a wire cable just like the prototype.

Item 1476 assembles easily thanks to a sturdy slot-together substructure clad with ready-cut, pre-colored wood veneers, giving an authentic timber appearance. The winding tower, complete with its lean-to, windbreak and bracing, measures approximately 160 x 95 mm and stands 145 mm tall, while the accompanying machine house measures about 80 x 60 mm and stands 56 mm tall.
