The Busch 1490 is an HO scale kit of the guard house at "Checkpoint Charlie," perhaps the most famous border crossing in the world and today one of Berlin's best-known landmarks. Faithful to the original wooden control booth, the model reproduces the structure's board-by-board texture through fine engraving, giving it a strikingly authentic Cold War appearance for the US Army sector of divided Berlin.
