Busch 25011 HO Messerschmitt Bf 109 F4 Captured Aircraft

The Busch 25011 is a fully assembled HO scale (1:87) model of a Messerschmitt Bf 109 F4, depicted as a captured ("prey") aircraft in British RAF markings and camouflage. The prototype was the machine flown by fighter pilot Oswald Fischer (see also item 25010).

Because British interest in the aircraft was relatively low, it was not repaired until August 1943, when it received a new engine, was made airworthy again and repainted in the typical RAF captured-aircraft scheme. Remarkably, the white "11" and the bomb symbol remained on the fuselage. Given the serial NN644, it served with No. 1426 Flight (Enemy Aircraft) until 31 January 1945. This Busch 25011 model captures that unusual history with fine printing and detailing, ready to display.
