Busch 42843 HO Scale Fortschritt ZT300 Tractor, Red

Capture the character of classic East German agriculture with the Busch 42843, a detailed HO scale model of the 1967 Fortschritt ZT 300-D farm tractor with enclosed cab, finished in red and gray. Developed in the former East Germany (GDR) from the early 1960s, the Fortschritt ZT 300 was created by the Schoenebeck tractor works to lift the country's agriculture to a 'world-class' standard, targeting 100 hp and strong drawbar pull. First tested in 1964 and approved in 1967, it entered series production the same year, and by the early 1980s some 35,000 ZT tractors had been built before the improved ZT 320/323 followed.

Delivered fully assembled, the Busch 42843 is ready to display straight from the box with no construction or painting needed. Its faithful reproduction of the ZT 300-D's distinctive cab and rugged proportions makes item 42843 a standout addition to farmyards, fields and period Eastern-bloc layouts.
