Busch 42844 HO Scale Fortschritt ZT300 Tractor, Green

Bring a workhorse of East German farming to your layout with the Busch 42844, a detailed HO scale model of the 1967 Fortschritt ZT 300-D farm tractor with enclosed cab, finished in green (olive) and gray. Developed in the former East Germany (GDR) from the early 1960s, the Fortschritt ZT 300 was created by the Schoenebeck tractor works to lift the country's agriculture to a 'world-class' standard, targeting 100 hp and strong drawbar pull. First tested in 1964 and approved in 1967, it entered series production the same year, and by the early 1980s some 35,000 ZT tractors had been built before the improved ZT 320/323 followed.

Supplied fully assembled, the Busch 42844 needs no building or painting and drops straight into a field, farmyard or country lane. Faithful to the detailed 'D' version of the ZT 300, item 42844 is an authentic and eye-catching centerpiece for agricultural and period GDR scenes.
