The ZT 303 was the four-wheel-drive version of East Germany's (GDR) Fortschritt tractor family, built by the Schoenebeck works to raise the country's agriculture to a 'world-class' standard. Approved in 1967, the ZT series entered series production the same year, and by the early 1980s some 35,000 examples had been built before the improved ZT 320/323 followed.

Supplied fully assembled, the Busch 42847 requires no construction or painting and is ready to display straight from the box. Faithful to the detailed all-wheel-drive 'D' version, item 42847 makes an authentic and capable-looking addition to farms, fields and period Eastern-bloc scenes.
