Busch 51430 HO Scale Mercedes-Benz G-Class Airfield Car

Busch item 51430 is a fully assembled HO scale (1:87) model of a 1990 Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G-Klasse) SUV configured as an airfield escort vehicle. Finished in army green, the model carries an elaborate red-and-white checkered pattern printed across its roof. This marking serves as a visual orientation aid for glider pilots, and many small airfields press retired ex-Bundeswehr vehicles like this into service to provide fast winch-launch support.

As a ready-made model, item 51430 requires no assembly and is ready to place directly on an HO layout, airfield diorama or military scene. The rugged G-Class body is captured with fine detail, crisp German lettering and the distinctive checkered roof printing that makes it instantly recognizable. At 1:87 scale it works seamlessly with standard HO figures, buildings and aircraft-themed scenery.
