Busch 5961 All Scale Timer with Infrared Light Barrier

The Busch 5961 is a timer with an infrared light barrier, suitable for all scales. When a train interrupts the infrared beam, the timer is triggered and switches on a connected electronic accessory drawing up to 150 mA. After an adjustable interval of about 2 to 24 seconds, it switches off automatically; if a train stops within the beam, the on-time is extended until the beam is cleared.
