Form the base of hills, tunnels and rolling terrain with the Busch 7179 fine aluminum wire mesh. This close-woven metal fabric is easy to cut with ordinary shears and can be freely shaped by hand into contours, then covered with plaster or your preferred landscaping material. It provides a strong, stable substructure that holds its form under the weight of a scenery shell.
The lacquered surface of Busch 7179 keeps the mesh mesh-fast so it will not fray when cut, and protects it against moisture from plaster and similar materials. Measuring a generous 29-1/2 x 23-5/8 in. (75 x 60 cm), a single sheet covers a large area, and because it is scale-neutral it is suitable for all scales from Z through G.
Key Features:
- Suitable for all scales (HO, N, TT, Z, G, O) terrain material, not a kit
- Item number 7179 from Busch
- Fine-mesh aluminum fabric for landscape substructures
- Sheet size: 29-1/2 x 23-5/8 in. (75 x 60 cm)
- Easy to cut and freely formable by hand
- Lacquered surface resists fraying and moisture from plaster
- Ideal base for hills, tunnels and rolling terrain
