Busch 7208 All Scale Rigid Foam Modeling Sheets, 4-Pack

The Busch 7208 set supplies rigid modelling foam originally developed for industrial and design model-making, usable in any scale to build hills, cliffs and terrain. Its very fine cell structure gives an almost closed surface, unlike coarse polystyrene, so it carves cleanly and takes detail well. The material works easily with ordinary household tools: a simple saw or large knife shapes the blocks, and several sheets can be bonded together with hot glue, wood glue or contact adhesive.

Fine modelling of the Busch 7208 foam is done with carving and craft knives, chisels and sandpaper, and running a wire brush over the surface quickly creates realistic stratified rock. Finish the terrain with model acrylic paints (such as Busch 1702 to 1709) and scatter materials, and combine it with the Busch 7206 terrain construction system and 7207 honeycomb panels. The pack contains one sheet 500 x 250 x 80 mm, one 500 x 250 x 50 mm and two 500 x 250 x 20 mm, with detailed instructions included.
