Designed for overhead catenary operation, these portals provide the extra clearance needed for wired lines and feature an integrated tunnel-tube extension that adds convincing depth behind the opening, so the tunnel mouth reads as a real bore into the hillside rather than a flat facade.

Supplied as an unassembled plastic kit, Busch 8191 comes two portals per pack (pkg(2)) in a cut-stone masonry style that paints and weathers beautifully to match surrounding rockwork. The single-track opening and stepped upper profile suit electrified branch and main lines in N scale (1:160). Fit them to both ends of a tunnel or use them at separate scenic locations for a coordinated look.
