The FireX Sintering Kiln brings professional metal sintering to any lab, studio, or workshop—compact enough to ship via UPS, powerful enough to sinter the full Filamet™ material lineup. Go from 3D printed part to 100% metal with the click of a button, up to 1260°C/2300°F.
How It Works:
3D Print → Pack → Sinter → Metal!
Pack your printed part in Sintering Refractory Ballast, cover with Sintering Carbon, load into the kiln, select your sintering profile, click start—and your parts become functional metal objects.
Proper ventilation is required while operating the kiln. Kilns operate at very high temperatures—use with extreme caution.

FAQ:
❓ What materials can the FireX sinter?
✅ The FireX is compatible with Bronze, Copper, H13 Tool Steel, Inconel 718, M300 Tool Steel, SS17-4, SS316L, Pyrex® (Borosilicate), and Amaco 46-D. See full sintering profiles here: Click Here
❓ Does it ship outside the USA?
✅ No—the FireX is only available in the USA. For international sintering equipment inquiries, contact info@thevirtualfoundry.com.
❓ What atmosphere does the kiln use?
✅ The kiln is designed for use with a reducing or inert gas atmosphere (e.g. hydrogen/nitrogen or forming gas) supplied by the user. Proper ventilation is required during operation.
❓ How does it compare to the TVF Sintering Kiln and FireX Max?
✅ The FireX ships via UPS (no freight required), is UL Listed, and is the most accessible entry point for sintering Filamet™ materials. The TVF Sintering Kiln adds TAP touchscreen remote monitoring. The FireX Max is a larger-chamber, higher-wattage unit for production-scale sintering. All three are compatible with the same material lineup.
