Greenlight 36060-D 1/64 1974 Volkswagen Thing Type 181, Acapulco

The Greenlight 36060-D is a 1/64 scale 1974 Volkswagen Thing Type 181 in the Acapulco Thing style, from the Club Vee-Dub Series 15. It captures the boxy, open-air character of the Type 181 that makes the Thing such a beloved Volkswagen oddity.

Item 36060-D is a die-cast model with chrome accents, a metal chassis, real rubber tires, and true-to-scale detail, released as a Limited Edition. Built for adult collectors, it is a fun addition to any air-cooled Volkswagen or Club Vee-Dub collection. The photo is a pre-production sample and the final product may vary.
