A pack of ten E3.0 size E-rings, sized for a 3.0mm shaft groove.
An E-ring, sometimes called an E-clip, is a small sprung retainer that snaps into a machined groove on a shaft to stop parts sliding off it. They are used throughout a radio control car on hinge pins, driveshafts and suspension pivots, and they are one of those components nobody thinks about until one goes missing.
That happens more often than you would like. E-rings are under spring tension by design, and prying one off with a screwdriver frequently launches it across the pit area never to be seen again. They also fatigue and lose their grip after being removed and refitted several times, and an E-ring that has spread will let its shaft walk out under vibration, which usually means a suspension arm falling off mid-run.
Keeping a pack in the toolbox is basic insurance. This part number supersedes the older Kyosho number 1383. Fitment is universal rather than model-specific, and Kyosho lists it across the Lazer ZX6 and ZX6.6, Ultima, Optima Mid, Scorpion, Inferno NEO 3.0 and the Inferno MP9 TKI4 and MP10e.
