Kyosho 1-N3024 M3x2.4mm Nut 10pcs

A pack of ten M3 hex nuts, 2.4mm in height, from Kyosho's universal hardware range.

This is a plain steel nut rather than a nylon insert locknut. That distinction matters when choosing one. A plain nut relies on friction and clamping force alone to stay put, which makes it the right choice where the joint is genuinely tightened down solid and where you want the option of thread lock, or where a nylon insert would foul on something.

Where it is the wrong choice is anywhere subject to sustained vibration without a solid clamp, because a nitro engine or a brushless motor at speed will walk a plain nut loose over a run. For those positions Kyosho supplies the same threads in a nylon insert version.

The 2.4mm height is the standard low-profile M3 nut, which matters where clearance is tight and a taller nut would catch on a moving part.

Ten are supplied. Nuts are worth replacing rather than reusing indefinitely, since threads deform over repeated cycles. This supersedes the older Kyosho number 1172.
