Kyosho 97004 Clutch Bearing 1pc

Kyosho 97004 is a single clutch bearing for Kyosho nitro engines. It supersedes the old part number LD70.

The clutch bearing carries the clutch bell and lets it spin freely on the crankshaft whenever the engine is below engagement speed. It works hot, close to the engine, at very high rpm, and it is the bearing most likely to fail on a nitro car. When it seizes it takes the clutch bell and often the crankshaft collar with it, so it is worth replacing on schedule rather than waiting for a noise.

Kyosho lists it across a wide range of .18 to .21 class engine models including the DRX, DBX, DRT and Mad Force Kruiser. Note this is sold as one bearing — most clutches use two, so order accordingly.
