Kyosho 97037-14 2.6x14mm Pin Set 10pcs

A pack of ten 2.6 x 14mm pins from Kyosho's universal hardware range.

Pins this size do the unglamorous work of transmitting drive through a chassis. Depending on where they sit they act as differential internal pins holding the spider gears on their cross, as drive pins in outdrives, and as locating pins in gear assemblies. They carry torque in shear, which means a worn or slightly bent pin does not fail cleanly. Instead it introduces play you feel as a knock under acceleration, and it accelerates wear on the much more expensive parts around it.

Inside a differential in particular, a worn cross pin lets the spider gears wobble on their axis, which chews the gear faces and eventually destroys the diff. Replacing pins during a diff rebuild is cheap insurance.

This part number supersedes the older Kyosho part IF39, so legacy IF39 listings are the same item.
