The Kyosho BRG100 Diff Thrust Bearing is the genuine replacement thrust bearing for ball differentials on Kyosho's 1/10 scale off-road and touring platforms. Unlike a standard radial bearing, a thrust bearing is built to handle axial load, and inside a ball diff that is exactly the job: it carries the clamping force from the diff screw while letting the adjustment nut turn smoothly. A healthy thrust bearing is what makes diff settings repeatable, since a notchy or worn one causes the diff to tighten unevenly and slip inconsistently mid-run.
Thrust bearings are a wear item by design, and racers typically replace them at regular rebuild intervals along with fresh diff balls and grease. This is a direct factory replacement fitting the Ultima RT5, RB5, RB6, SC, and DB, plus the Lazer ZX-5 and other Kyosho models built around the same ball diff. Pack a little thrust bearing grease on it during assembly and the diff will feel smooth and hold its setting through a full race day.
