Kyosho FA003 Suspension Arm Set Fazer

This is the suspension arm set for Kyosho's Fazer platform, covering the front and rear lower arms.

The lower arms are the main structural link between the chassis and the wheels. They carry every cornering, braking and impact load the car generates, and their geometry sets the roll centre and how camber changes through the suspension's travel. That makes them a functional part rather than just a mount.

They are also the most commonly broken component on any car that gets driven hard, because they are the first thing to take the load in a wheel-first impact. That is partly by design: an arm is cheaper and quicker to replace than the bulkhead or chassis it protects.

Even when they survive an impact, arms can be left slightly bent or stressed, and a distorted arm changes geometry on that corner only. The car then behaves differently through left and right turns in a way that is easy to blame on setup.

Supplied as a set covering both ends of the car. Kyosho lists it across the EP Fazer, Fazer VE and VE-X, Fazer VEi and the Pure Ten GP Fazer. Not compatible with the later Fazer Mk2.
