Kyosho IF110 2.6x17mm Wheel Pin Set

The drive pin sits crosswise through the wheel axle and engages the wheel hub, which makes it the very last component in the drivetrain. Every bit of torque the car produces passes through these small pins in shear, and they take that load through every landing and every impact as well.

They are also the part most likely to go missing during a trackside wheel change. They are loose once the nut is off, they are small, and they disappear into grass and dirt instantly. Keeping spares in the pit box saves race days.

Wear shows up as play between wheel and axle, which you feel as a knock under acceleration and which progressively elongates the slot in the axle itself. Replacing a worn pin early is far cheaper than replacing the axle it damaged.
