Kyosho IF111-74 4x74mm Suspension Shaft 2pcs

A pair of suspension shafts measuring 4mm in diameter by 74mm long, for the inner bulkhead side of the front and rear lower arms on Kyosho's Inferno platform.

Suspension shafts, also called hinge pins, are the pins the arms pivot on. They carry every load the suspension generates through a small diameter, and they have to stay perfectly straight to work properly. A bent shaft makes the arm bind so it no longer moves freely through its travel, and the symptoms mislead: the suspension feels stiff, damping goes inconsistent, and most people chase the problem through shocks and springs before thinking to check the pins.

They wear as well as bend, and a worn shaft lets the arm develop play, which shows at the wheel as camber and toe that shift under load.

Length and diameter are the only things distinguishing this from the rest of the IF111 family, so ordering the right one matters. At 4mm diameter these are the heavier inner shafts rather than the 3mm outer pins. Kyosho specifies them for the bulkhead side of both front and rear lower arms. Fitment covers the Inferno GT and GT2, MP777, ST-R and MP-7.5.
