Kyosho IF137-1 Vibration Protection Rubber 4pcs

A set of four vibration isolation rubbers for Kyosho's Inferno nitro platform, used at the fuel tank and chassis mounting points.

These grommets do more than fill a hole. A nitro engine vibrates hard, and mounting components rigidly to a vibrating chassis is how you crack a fuel tank, fatigue its mounts and shake the fuel enough to cause pickup problems mid-run. The rubbers absorb that vibration while still holding things securely enough that they do not move under cornering and braking loads.

They are consumables. Constant vibration compresses and hardens them, and exposure to nitro fuel attacks the material over time. Once hardened they stop isolating anything, and the vibration goes straight into whatever they were protecting. A tank that has started moving in its mounts is worth investigating before it becomes a crack, because a leaking fuel tank is both a lost race and a mess.

Four are supplied. Fitment covers the Inferno NEO 3.0 and 4.0, NEO ST 3.0, GT2 Race Spec, FO-XX 2.0 and USA-1 Nitro, with dealers adding the earlier MP-7.5 and MP777.
