This is the 95mm centre driveshaft that runs between the centre differential and the rear differential on Kyosho's Inferno platform.
The centre shaft carries every bit of torque headed for the rear axle, and it does so through joints that articulate constantly as the chassis flexes and the suspension moves. That combination makes it one of the highest-stress parts in the drivetrain and a genuine wear item rather than a fit-and-forget component.
Wear shows up at the ends first. The bone tips round off and the cups they seat in open up, and the resulting play produces a knock under acceleration and a clunk on throttle transitions. Left alone, a worn shaft eventually jumps out of its cup, and on a centre shaft that means an instant and total loss of drive.
This is the B revision, superseding the original IF143. Kyosho states one shaft per pack, so order accordingly if you are replacing more than one. Dealers list fitment across the Inferno MP-7.5, MP777, Inferno NEO and NEO ST, Inferno GT and GT2, and the Mad Force and Mad Crusher monster trucks.
