This is the front steering knuckle arm set for Kyosho's Inferno platform, containing one left and one right arm.
The knuckle arm is the upright that the front wheel hub mounts into, and it is what physically steers the car. It carries the steering link, defines the steering axis, and takes every impact the front wheel receives. On a 1/8 scale car those impacts are substantial, and the knuckle is one of the parts most likely to be damaged in a hard front-end hit.
Damage here is not always obvious. A knuckle that has been bent rather than broken changes the steering geometry on that side only, which makes the car pull under braking and gives it a different turning radius left versus right. That is a frustrating problem to chase if you have not thought to compare the two sides.
Note that this pack contains one left-hand and one right-hand arm rather than two of the same, so it covers a complete front end. This part supersedes the earlier IF6B. Dealers list fitment across the Inferno MP5, MP6, MP-7.5 and MP777, Inferno GT and GT2, the ST-R and ST-RR truggies, and Inferno US Sports.
