Kyosho IF232-01 Front Shock Plastic Parts Set NEO

This is the front shock plastic parts set for Kyosho's Inferno NEO, covering the molded components of the front dampers.

Rebuilding a shock properly means replacing more than the oil and seals. The plastic parts are what control how the shock behaves and how well it holds together: the caps, the retainers that hold the diaphragm, and the lower guides that keep the shaft running true. All of them wear or go brittle with age, heat cycling and fuel exposure.

The consequences are specific. A cap that no longer seals properly lets the shock lose pressure and draw air into the oil, which foams it and progressively kills damping through a run. A worn lower guide lets the shaft move off axis, which scores the shaft and destroys the seals it runs through.

Buying the parts together as a set is cheaper and considerably less fiddly than sourcing each piece individually part way through a rebuild. This covers both front shocks. Kyosho lists it across the Inferno NEO, NEO 2.0, NEO 3.0 and NEO 4.0, Inferno VE and the NEO 3.0 VE.
