Shock pistons for Kyosho's Big Bore dampers, drilled with six holes of 1.3mm diameter, supplied two to a pack.

The piston is the disc that travels through the oil inside the shock body, and the total open area of its holes is what controls damping. Fewer or smaller holes restrict oil flow and slow the suspension; more or larger holes let it move more freely.

Six holes at 1.3mm sits in the middle of Kyosho's IF347 range. It is more restrictive than the eight-hole version and more open than the five-hole, which makes it a sensible baseline to work from in either direction rather than a specialist setting. On a track that is neither especially smooth nor especially rough, it is the piston most people start with and tune around by changing oil weight.

Piston and oil weight always work together, and the combination matters more than either on its own. Kyosho sells the IF347 series in several hole counts and diameters specifically so you can build a pairing that suits the surface.

Fitment covers the Inferno MP10, MP10 TKI3, MP10T, MP10e, MP9 TKI4 V2 and Inferno NEO 3.0 and 4.0 VE.
