A pair of 70mm front Big Bore shock springs, wound with 1.4mm wire over eight turns and color coded green.
Kyosho's numbering encodes the spec directly: eight turns of 1.4mm wire at a 70mm free length. Within a fixed wire diameter and free length, adding turns lowers the spring rate, so at eight turns this is the softest of Kyosho's 1.4mm front springs. The color code exists so you can identify a spring at a glance in the pit box rather than measuring it.
A softer front spring lets the chassis roll and dive more, which loads the front tires progressively and builds mechanical steering on loose, rough or low-grip surfaces. It also lets the front suspension follow broken ground instead of skipping across it. The trade-off is that it bottoms out more readily on heavy landings and can feel lazy turning in on a high-bite groomed track.
These are the short front springs, sold as an optional tuning part rather than a stock replacement. Fitment covers the Inferno MP9 TKI4 V2, Inferno NEO 3.0 and NEO 3.0 VE, MP10e, MP9e Evo. V2, and the FO-XX 2.0 and USA-1 monster trucks.
