A rear wing for Kyosho's 1/8 scale Inferno buggies and truggies.

The wing is the single largest aerodynamic surface on a 1/8 buggy and it earns its keep in two distinct ways. At speed it generates downforce over the rear axle, which is what keeps the car stable down a straight and through fast sweepers. Just as important, it acts as a stabilizer in the air. A buggy that jumps flat and lands on all four wheels is usually one with a wing doing its job, and a car missing its wing or running a damaged one becomes noticeably harder to control off big jumps.

Wings are consumables. They crack at the mounting holes, tear at the sidewall gussets, and take permanent sets from repeated hard landings, all of which reduce how much load they can carry before flexing.

Despite the MP9 name, this is effectively the standard Inferno wing and Kyosho's fitment list runs to forty kits, covering MP9 and MP9e, MP9 TKI through TKI4, MP10 and MP10 Spec A, the ST-RR Evo. and Evo.2 truggies, and Inferno NEO 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0.
