A pair of 3 x 35mm suspension shafts for the Kyosho Inferno MP9.
Suspension shafts, also called hinge pins, are the pins the suspension arms pivot on. They carry every load the suspension generates in a very small diameter, and they have to stay perfectly straight while doing it. A bent hinge pin is one of the more insidious problems on an off-road car, because the arm binds on it and no longer moves freely through its travel. The suspension feels stiff, damping goes inconsistent, and if you have not thought to check the pins you will chase the problem through shocks and springs first.
They also wear. A worn pin lets the arm develop play, which shows up as inconsistent camber and toe under load.
Length is the only thing distinguishing this part from its siblings in the IF425 family, so ordering the right one matters. This is the 35mm shaft, 3mm in diameter, supplied two to a pack. Dealers place these in the front suspension on the MP9 TKI3. Kyosho lists fitment across the Inferno MP9 and MP9 TKI through TKI4, and the electric MP9e variants.
