Kyosho IF440 Front Lower Suspension Holder Rear Gunmetal

This is the front lower suspension holder for the Kyosho Inferno MP9, in the rear of the two front positions, finished in gunmetal.

Suspension holders are the blocks that clamp the front lower arm hinge pins to the chassis, and they come as a front and rear pair at each end of the car. They are pure geometry parts. Where the holder positions the inner pivot sets the roll centre, the anti-squat and the kick-up angle, which between them determine how the car reacts to throttle, how much it rolls in a corner and how it behaves over bumps. Kyosho and other manufacturers sell them in different offsets precisely so that racers can change those characteristics without new arms.

They also take a genuine structural beating, since every load the front suspension sees passes through the hinge pins into these blocks.

This is the rear holder of the front pair specifically, so check which position you need before ordering. The front holder is a separate part number and they are not interchangeable. Kyosho lists this across the Inferno MP9, MP9 TKI through TKI4, MP9e and MP9e Evo., and Inferno GT3.
