Kyosho IF451 Post Set Inferno MP9

This is the post set for Kyosho's Inferno MP9, covering the chassis posts including the transponder mount.

Posts do the unglamorous work of standing components off the chassis at the right height. On a race car the most important of them carries the transponder, and that one has a genuine functional requirement: a transponder needs to sit at a specific height and orientation, clear of carbon and metal, for the timing loop to read it reliably. A missed lap because the transponder was mounted badly is a frustrating way to lose a race.

They also take impacts. Posts sit proud of the chassis by definition, so they catch on things in a rollover, and a snapped post usually takes whatever it was holding with it.

Because they are cheap moulded parts and easy to break, keeping a set on hand is sensible for anyone racing regularly rather than waiting until a broken one stops you running.

Supplied as a set. Dealers list fitment across the Inferno MP9, MP9 TKI2 and MP9 TKI3. Note that Kyosho lists this part as discontinued.
