Kyosho IF459-2.3 2.3mm Front Sway Bar Inferno MP9

This is the 2.3mm front sway bar for Kyosho's Inferno MP9 and MP10 platforms, supplied as a single bar.

A sway bar, also called a stabilizer or anti-roll bar, links the left and right suspension arms so that when one side compresses in a corner the bar resists the chassis rolling onto that side. A thinner front bar allows more front body roll and lets weight transfer across the axle gradually rather than abruptly, which builds mechanical grip at the front.

At 2.3mm this sits near the soft end of Kyosho's front range, which runs from 2.1mm upward in 0.1mm steps. It is the bar to reach for on rough, rutted, dusty or freshly watered tracks where the front suspension needs freedom to follow the surface and the car needs front bite more than it needs quick direction changes. On a high-bite groomed surface it will usually feel vague and slow to turn in.

Running a soft bar at one end and a stiffer bar at the other is also a common way to shift the car's overall balance without touching springs or oil.
