Kyosho IF459-2.5 2.5mm Front Sway Bar Inferno MP9

This is the 2.5mm front sway bar for Kyosho's Inferno MP9 and MP10 platforms, supplied as a single bar.

A sway bar, also called a stabilizer or anti-roll bar, links the left and right suspension arms so that when one side compresses in a corner the bar resists the chassis rolling onto that side. Fitting a thicker front bar reduces front body roll and makes the car turn in more sharply, but it also transfers weight across the front axle faster, which can cost you front traction on a loose or bumpy surface. A thinner bar does the opposite, letting the front end load up progressively and find bite at the expense of some steering response.

Kyosho's front bar range runs from 2.1mm up in 0.1mm steps, so at 2.5mm this sits squarely mid-range. It is a common baseline and a sensible reference point to tune away from in either direction as conditions change.

Fitment is broad, covering the MP9 and MP9e range, MP9 TKI2 through TKI4, MP10, MP10T, MP10e, MP11e and Inferno GT3. One bar is supplied.
