Kyosho IF7 Knuckle Arm Collar Set 4pcs

A set of four knuckle arm collars for Kyosho's Inferno platform.

The collars sit in the steering knuckle assembly, spacing and guiding the knuckle on its kingpin so that it pivots smoothly without moving up and down or side to side. They are what set the free play in the steering upright, and that makes them more important than a small plastic spacer sounds.

When they wear, the knuckle starts to move in ways it should not. You get vertical play at the hub, the steering feels loose off centre, and camber changes slightly as the wheel loads and unloads. Because the wear is gradual and the parts are buried in the assembly, it is a common cause of vague front-end feel that people chase through shocks, links and servos before finding it.

They are cheap and replacing them restores the crisp, precise steering the car had when new, which is why they are worth renewing whenever the front end is apart. Four are supplied, enough for both sides. Kyosho lists fitment across the Inferno MP-7.5, MP777, ST-R, Inferno GT and GT2, MP10 and the Mad Force VE.
