This is Kyosho's special specification rear suspension plate in the 2 degree configuration, finished in gunmetal.
The rear suspension plate is the holder that clamps the rear lower arm hinge pins to the chassis, and the angle built into it sets anti-squat. Anti-squat controls how the rear of the car reacts when you get on the throttle. More of it resists the rear squatting down under acceleration, which keeps the chassis flatter and can improve forward bite on a smooth high-grip track. Less of it lets the rear settle, loading the tires and finding traction on loose or rough ground.
Because that angle is machined into the part rather than adjustable, the plate you fit is the setting. Kyosho offers them in different degree values specifically so racers can change this characteristic, which makes this a genuine tuning component rather than a repair part.
At 2 degrees this is a moderate setting. Kyosho lists it as a substitution for the standard IFW302, and names it for the Inferno ST-RR Evo, with dealers extending to the Evo.2.
