This is the pivot set for Kyosho's SP torque rod assembly on the Inferno platform, supplied as enough for one complete car.
A torque rod braces the bulkhead against the chassis and controls how much the car twists under load, and the pivots are what let it do that while still allowing the controlled movement the design depends on. They have to hold the rod firmly enough that there is no free play while still turning smoothly, and those two requirements pull against each other, which is why the pivots are a wearing part rather than a permanent one.
When they wear, the torque rod develops slop and stops controlling chassis flex predictably. The car's response to steering and throttle becomes inconsistent in a way that is difficult to trace, because nothing has visibly broken and the rod is still attached at both ends.
Kyosho supplies these as a set sized for one vehicle rather than stating a piece count, so a single pack rebuilds the whole assembly. These are service parts for the optional SP torque rod, which needs to be fitted already. Dealers list fitment across the Inferno MP777, ST-R and ST-RR.
